About Dr. De Haan Dr. De Haan has degrees in science and veterinary medicine from Michigan University; theology from Gordon/Conwell Theological Seminary; and nutrition from Trinity School of Natural Health. In addition, he has obtained various other certifications and post-graduate study degrees. His experience includes living 12 years in the rainforest near the equator under the auspices of Mision de Cristo en Colombia. Currently he is specializing in medical and nutritional consultations. About 90% of his practice includes using natural and alternative treatments with companion animals. Dr. De Haan has written two books and a third is in progress. The first is Natural Care of Pets which is self-published. The second is: “We don’t die….We Kill Ourselves; Our foods are Killing Us!” by MileStones International Publishers. The Third is estimated to be released in February 2007 under the title: “Healing the Creation!” A frequent speaker at seminars, Dr. De Haan resides in Kings Mountain, NC with his wife Virginia. Their oldest son Reuben is a health practitioner. Andrew is contractor and legal advisor. Paul has degrees in computers and works as an internal auditor for an international company.
